A little off topic, but on top of the recent US talent leaving for Europe, the NWSL is also losing most of their significant European talent. If there weren't 4-5 separate significant leaghes over there, NWSL would already be toast.

A salary cap when you are easily the top league in the world paying the biggest salaries is different than one when you are competing with leagues around the world with teams that have a lot of resources.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the one, largely merit-based criteria for the "HIP" rule (top 11 minutes for USWNT) wouldn't qualify Rodman. I'm not sure how coming off of an injury-plagued year instantly depletes your value for the future.

No, they helped Georgia out big time. They've let the defensive backs be physical for the whole tournament and those two calls late were not called in many other situations. The facemask was probably the most egregious miss of the entire tournament and hugely important.
