As far as I know a great part of that money was invested in US defense industry. The weapons send to Ukraine had to be replaced. It did create a lot of jobs and the arms lobby was pretty happy. So ist was not entirly altruistic but it sure was a very important lifeline/saver for Ukraine.

Yes I agree, but in the past all the support given to Ukraine was only in agreement with US. If US did not agree it was not given. That has to stop. Europe and NATO have to decide and act independent from US. It is long overdue that Ukraine get's the support and weapons it needs.

NATO should go on making decisions without US. That dipshit stated clearly that he will not defend Europe and he will block anything and anyone who is not dancing to his tune. By siding with russia he is a traitor to all of NATO and to all the allied soldiers who died after 9/11 for an US conflict.
