trick the light thru tears, 1981 for kith & all my fellow press/ label mates on it :) & then there's a long long hall all swallowed by shadows, but with the red on the walls & the scent of wet earth peaking thru every few steps, there's a new widow - some wide open, some with the faintest hint of light, some stained to put an ethereal light on the proceedings there's tears out some anger out others a wave of fear out a lot a few are awash in despair but you just know you just have to look out every last one - compelled to all the parts all the plays all the dioramas all the murals all these moments made for & from something real by the ones who built these beauties pay respect pay homage pay offerings pay respect pay attention these windows let you into the worries & wildfires only you & yours ever really know yes. it is hard to watch sometimes but that's the point - the real truth is that which you wanna watch with a hand over your eyes the hall goes on so far - you're thankful to the proprietor how kind to let all of you build thru eternity & all thru the night

think of air sometimes you're playing with the brightness on the laptop as your Sweetheart lies sleeping next to you, sweet kitty baby Luna purring soft at His feet, as you sit looking around back and forth on so many stereaming sites for minutes that wind into an hour than a pair of hours then you're bargaining with yourself that if you can just find the right boring documentary or episode of MST3K that you've seen 500 times so you won't laugh at the jokes but their familiar enough beats to act the way Mama's lullabies used to then maybe maybe maybe you'll sleep for a few hours before sunrise and you can pretend you weren't up all night and therefore not make Him worry about you anymore than you know He already does and you know you should start back to therapy again but what's the use when you've got art writing video games and movies to tune out all the sorrows? sometimes it's left to roam the highways trying to make a few side monies as you wait on the endless slog that is onboarding thru a temp agency you're pulled off at a gas station parking lot sweating exhausted trying to not start falling into another valley of despair when you see how much gas was spent on these deliveries and just start to laugh at the barely over $15 you earned for your trouble and it's all too much it's all so much you hate it you hate it you hate yourself fuck it all why does it matter nothing you do matters and just as the slow foggy dream that is a dissociative episode for you there's a gentle tap on your window a kind face is standing there you roll the window down big smile lots of teeth definitely a type A personality but one of the genuine ones it seems they train emotional support dogs and not too jump to conclusions, but - would you like to let him get some experience with someone who's depressed you jump in with your own smile sure and then an adorable little angel is handed to you thru the window and he's licking your face and you're laughing and you know your sweetheart will be so happy to see you harpy and you know your sweet kitty baby Luna will be furious but you know she'll understand. sometimes it's you sat out on your patio pretending you're not hearing the drunken laughter of neighbors you know have muttered trans & queer slurs as you've passed them in the parking lot as you watch the moon waver in and out behind the mountains like the one true pearl set along the plasticine frauds that justifies the tickets needed to win it at Round One 100,000 and you tune out the laughter the swearing the hateful country & pop tunes disguised as uplifting & empowering by the grifters who hate the fans they bring in fade all away fade all away there's a nightbird out somewhere near the storage rental unit squat at the end of the road that got left to rot when it was found to be more profitable to just leave it abandoned and take the tax write off the nightbird sings so pretty it's so sweet to have some tears that ain't out of sadness.
