I spent about that to make this cardigan, which is *15* balls of wool (5 merino, 10 mohair) and gave me something fun to do for about 6 weeks.

now I've certainly spend this on materials to make a sweater, but the difference is that it's 100% natural fibers. I could get a sweater's quantity of alpaca for half this price.
