What if writing code becomes artisanal? Like hand crafted is more valuable in some sectors.

Are you going to try and fix it? or Sell it?

You could easily stack 5+ nodes in a 1u. The power is not that bad either.

Longhorn uses a bit of resources. It also uses the local disk on the nodes with iscsi and nfs. Are you running VMs? or Managed k8s?
January 5, 2025 at 1:07 PM
as a former rancher employee I would use k3s and longhorn. Here is a video about install it : youtu.be/ONes6pv_9J4?...

Where is the storage? If you have an external NFS then you can simple create the PV before the PVC : github.com/clemenko/k8s...

Or I would use Longhorn longhorn.io

Which kubernetes distro are you using?

How do you find better coaches? I have been given bad advise before.

Careful. It is really addictive. :D
The "cloud" is overrated. lol

lol. We had an 8tb drive. We needed 30 days of coverage. So yes we have an NVR now with 4-8tb drives. works like a champ. I really appreciate local storage instead of the cloud.
