I felt this way about Seiken Densetsu 3 which never got an official English release until it was released on the switch and I realised how attached I was to the fan translation of names, dialogue, attacks etc that playing the official release felt wrong oTL

I'm guilty of this. I got overwhelmed by everything in October 2023 when a bunch of personal tragedies and family crises happened at once and then my inbox built up so much in my absence I couldn't face it and I've just never gone back to replying and saying thank you like I used to
