At the same time I don’t think it’s anything I’m likely to do much about — where am I going to be able to sing badly in a group? I don’t have a ton of interest in formal training or anything

Now that it’s been a couple years since I’ve left the Church, one of the things I’ve never found a replacement for was singing in the congregation’s choir. We were all a bunch of amateurs, especially when it came to the men, but I loved singing a song with people and I don’t get that anymore.
