Yesterday a pedestrian was killed in front of my workplace. It was very upsetting to witness everything around it. I dream of a day where we will not put people’s lives in danger by design. We know everything we need and have the means to make so that such things do not happen every day /1

pet peeve of mine, on how these contemporary looks age poorly. the staggered joints, the inset linear lights -- all just slowly oozing dirt into the panels. bet you it looked sharp in the renders!

It’s saddening to see old pictures of the city with lush, healthy street trees. We have pushed buildings out from the street with setbacks and removed trees from the Right-of-Way to accommodate our overlords the autos. Results are poor and bad for buildings, trees and the city
