Did some artwork while listening into the TADC D&D stream. It was a fun time!
Ragatha as a barbarian, design mostly based on the one from the stream, though not quite as detailed. She has a wicked smile and a bloody ax Gangle shouting at Pomni to milk Gummigoo. I had to draw this moment.

New dub made me hyper fixate on one specific joke
Mickey eating a burger in a restaurant that is supposed to be Burger King, though all names are wrong. Outside the window there is a sign denoting the restaurant as well as a message that hazily reads “it would be funny if you ate here.” Artist’s note: I made this with very little sleep. Yay~!

An aspect I nearly forget is the sound of a lively crowd in the woods behind my house at the time. Each time, I would go to this area in the dream and venture into the woods only for the loops to reset. This dream never felt malicious, just strange. Anyway, I drew a pic from that dream!

5 and a half minute
A depiction of the 5 and a half minute hallway from House of Leaves. We see 3 rooms; a room which our perspective resides, a room set as a transitionary one between our perspective and the third room, and the third room; a room defined by its bright nature. Along with the 3 rooms, there is a hallway that seems to lead from the first room to the third while also seemingly lacking any light from the 3rd room bleeding it. While inspired by the titular hallway from House of leaves, this piece is more of an attempt of approaching the visual feeling of the visual. The overall piece approaches a style similar to a children’s book with hard, thin lines and soft water colors. The intention was simply to allow light to play in the space in a way that approaches familiarity of a home while allowing the dread of the hallway to stand in stark contrast. The image itself was made in the iPad version of Sketchbook.

I’d been experimenting with the iPad version of Sketchbook a little bit, I’m starting to find a decent flow with it. I won’t lie, it’s not perfect, but I am much better with it compared to procreate.

Her hair is tied back into a tight ponytail. The sleeves on her suit jacket are a little too long, one is scrunched up pasted her wrist while the other falls past her palm.

I've been really enjoying this little process of mine where I sketch a pic, put the color down, shade it while simultaneously finding the line art. It's interesting, like sculpting in 2D. I should sleep now!
