I believe this is them displaying the "holding hands with Mayu" mechanic as well, at least when it comes to gameplay so far.

Took me two years to be like "hey, there's facial animations for these ten quotes Sektor says when you activate her fatal blow" but I think it's so cool.
First part is all the lines normally, second part begins all the lines, followed by her fatal blow.
