70% of NMs prefer that leaders place more emphasis on protecting water, air, wildlife habitat, & recreation opps over maximizing the amount of land available for drilling & mining. The CBF does this by funding local projects to reduce carbon pollution all while building a sustainable economy.

Regarding the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon fire, the Forest Service relied on poor weather data & failed to understand how climate change had dried out the landscape, which contributed to how much damage it caused and how large it became. www.washingtonpost.com/climate-envi...
