SCOTLAND generated a record amount of clean, domestic wind energy despite WM's constraints and lack of infra invest over the decades when they couldn't give 2 sh@ts about renewables. WELL DONE SCOTLAND! The lack of respect + abundance of dependence on Scotland who prop pays more is why we MUST go.
December 10, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Just say 'NO' Scotland. WM will take everything you've got, built, and paid-more-for than the majority of England does, every time. £12b? A crumb. That consumers will pay for and probably more proportionally if you live in Scotland cause that's the Thatcher-way. Enough. Go. Leave.
December 10, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Scot benefits when she's free.WM favors Eng infra invest. That's what 10x larger maj pop do. Scot pays higher energy bills now bc of lack of infra invest even tho 97% of renewables are gen there? Weird. WM is invest now bc they need what Scot has bn building since the 90's. This is a cheap bribe.

I think the details show, like BREXIT, UK energy prices are just another greedy UK unforced error. Scotland? You keep doing well and paying for it in time, money and our collective national health. When you're disrespected, under appreciated, and being bought out? It REALLY is time to go!
December 10, 2025 at 7:32 AM
High transmission fees set by WM for remote generators, grid bottlenecks, and UK-wide pricing mean Scottish households bear extra costs. Subsidies go to investors not UK consumers. Scot, proportionally, has slightly lower wholesale energy costs but not enough to offset distro costs controlled by WM.
December 10, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Scotland did that. WM relied on Scotland’s success to meet UK-wide climate targets, but that came after Scotland had already built most of its capacity. Now? Scotland pays more for energy despite producing most of the UK’s renewables because of UK market design:
December 10, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Scotland set ambitious renewable targets far higher than the UK’s. They used devolved powers (planning, environ., licensing) to approve wind, hydro, & tidal projects much faster than England. Partnering w/companies & universities to become a renewables powerhouse well before England did.
December 10, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Scototland was not “forced” by WM to develop renewable energy. Scotland chose, planned, built, and drove it politically. WM actually slowed or constrained Scot’s ability to develop it.Then, made shit investor deals ALL UK households pay for. Meanwhile, England sold off its resources to privateers.

First, the 70's & discovery of oil in the No. Sea. They settled for the crumb called the Barnett Formula, which, yes, gives Scotland more per head but not more in services than anyone else because it costs more to provide those services in a more rural nation. Think if they'd left with ALL that oil?

There have bn 2 crystal clear pts in recent history when Scot should've recognized that sucking sound for what it was? Their world-renowned know-how and natural resources heading southbound, literally, doon the drain. Both were centered around their natural energy resources.
December 10, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Yep. He sucked too. But please, try to stay up with what's happening right now. Or, go play with yourself in timeout. Geez.

So far, you are reciting unverified oppo talking points from where, reddit? It literally takes 30 seconds to ask AI to go get ALL credible, or better yet -verified- info out there on this. He's his stepbrother, is ALL I got. But AI can be wrong. So, bring WHAT you got and WHERE you got it from.

Def will radicalize. Point is, the truth of his journey completely tracks. So, if he can do, say all that and come out fighting for workers? Then, the totality of what I know says that is truth too. Collins? Mills? Genocide supporters - still, capitalist grifters, silent cowards.

Particularly his youth when indoctrinated. His camaraderie, drinking and military 'frat' behavior? Classic. PTSD is life-ending even if you still get to breathe. But THEN, his realization that he was used to benefit our gov capitalist agenda vs. hon. service? THAT is a special kind of mind fck.

It can take a minute to process. For me? I have to weigh the totality of the candidates on offer. I have decided based on MY experience, which is likely more informed than most, to choose WHO makes most sense. For me, Platner's experiences, good and fck'd up ring completely true.
