We've been working the past 3 days on a purifier donation to
Clean Air LA from our friends at @smarterhepa.bsky.social, and everything arrived yesterday!

Many high-powered purifiers are now in evacuation shelters around Los Angeles, cleaning the air of wildfire smoke & airborne pathogens. 🩵

Before you offer help, consider these four points:
Before you begin: Remember: LC and ME/CFS are extremely isolating. We can’t leave our community behind! Center consent when you offer help. Disabled people are the experts on what they need and want. Don’t make this about you. Showing up for one another is a normal part of being in relation. Consider picking one or two actions and making them recurring. Stability is important!

We're so proud of what we've accomplished this year! Through an entirely volunteer-led effort, we've purified the air for thousands of people, distributed masks and high-quality tests, and redistributed 10% of the donations we receive to our comrades with LC/ME/CFS.

As part of our effort to increase the number of virtual options for our community near and far, we've added easy-to-use mobile livestreaming gear to our library!
