It worked. I think most people in Newcastle definitely ….don’t want to say hate….sooo….really really really dislike the the guy….seemingly as much as they have ever disliked any sports figure ever.

But wouldn’t that sort of thing engender some hostility with their counterparts at Newcastle?

Seems like that presumes a level of cooperation between the two clubs that is a little hard to fathom at this point.

Well, no. If NUFC don’t decide to sell because LFC don’t meet their valuation, Isak will have to play or he will be in breach of his contract and they can decide to fine him or take him to court to enforce the contract.
Convenient for LFC fans if Contracts = FA, but that isn’t true.
