Easy there.

This team hasn’t looked like a team to dominate Europe in the first 3 games.

Isak and Guehi are good signings, but both take other quality off the field.

Playing Hugo out left is not his best position and it takes Gakpo out.

Nice you spent the money, but they have to play together.

These rules are madness

It will take that long.

Nah, yellow.

It worked. I think most people in Newcastle definitely ….don’t want to say hate….sooo….really really really dislike the the guy….seemingly as much as they have ever disliked any sports figure ever.

I was one of the only fans I know who wanted him to reintegrate.

Probably for the best. But…boo
September 1, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Well, there it is.
September 1, 2025 at 12:17 AM
Yes and no. I have slowly come to terms with it, but I’m very very salty.

Mostly glad it’s over.

But I will be rooting against him for the rest of his career.

But wouldn’t that sort of thing engender some hostility with their counterparts at Newcastle?

To your credit, you are the only LFC fan willing to admit this is happening.

I think the idea that everything is worked out and now they are cooperating is motivated reasoning on your part, but we’ll see.

Seems like that presumes a level of cooperation between the two clubs that is a little hard to fathom at this point.

It’s been so messy and so public, but now everyone is rowing in the same direction and keeping things quiet?

Possible given the amount of money, but is that common?

What’s the new ground?
August 31, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Honestly asking, why don’t think that?
August 31, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Well, no. If NUFC don’t decide to sell because LFC don’t meet their valuation, Isak will have to play or he will be in breach of his contract and they can decide to fine him or take him to court to enforce the contract.

Convenient for LFC fans if Contracts = FA, but that isn’t true.

Or, I hope not
August 31, 2025 at 8:11 PM
Not if they don’t make a bid….

I feel like I’ll still be seeing these posts a month from now…

Please do
August 31, 2025 at 7:54 PM
LFC could have had both these players through the door.

They keep playing games with these lowball offers.

The Isak transfer was always going to be hard unless the met the NUFC asking price (£150m).

The Guehi bids are a little harder to understand.
August 31, 2025 at 6:38 PM
If he knocks in 20 and helps us re-qualify, that’s all I care about.

You don’t have to sing his name, but he can do a job.
August 31, 2025 at 6:35 PM
Almost 4 years of age and 2 years of contract.
August 31, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Neither player acting this way is acceptable.

Wissa is at least training with the team, but still not a great way to be.

Don’t think either gets done before the window closes.
August 31, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Actually, the problem with Isak is that he won’t play….so….there is that.
August 31, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Boom! Love that for Palace.
August 31, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Tricky setup yesterday at a tough ground with a lot of fatigue and no Gordon.

Let’s not overreact.

Things will be better after the break.
