Should the Reds add this veteran slugger now that he’s open to a short term deal?
Should the Reds Sign Anthony Santander in Free Agency?

My thoughts on Luis Robert and why the Reds need to target him in a trade

Is Luis Robert Worth the Risk for the Cincinnati Reds?
Any team that trades for Luis Robert is taking a risk. However, he may just be a solid fit on the Cincinnati Reds.

Every org needs AAA veteran catchers who can be called up in a pinch. Reds have now added what I would assume to be the last of these types. They now have two.

The Major league back up still needs to be addressed but there’s several options still out there

My thoughts on the India trade and how it helps both teams

The Jonathan India, Brady Singer Trade is a Rare Win-Win
One thing that stands out about the Royals and Reds swap of Jonathan India and Brady Singer is that it's a clear win-win trade.

Spencer Steer a depth option at second?

McLain starts, Espinal is the back up. But if one gets injured Steer could slide in. Especially if multiple OF’s are added

Steer has played 28 games at second with the Reds

Frankie Montas, $14 mil, career 3.97 FIP

Brady Singer, India + Wiemer, 3.97 career FIP

Brady Singer has one start in GABP

6 innings, 5 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB, 6 K

Getting Singer is great. Really solid SP who has plenty of talent and adds some experience to the rotation

I think 2B is going to be okay without India and I’m very happy the FO didn’t talk themselves into Wiemer.

Love the move. More to go

Callihan being added should be a tell from the org.

He could provide org depth at 2b (especially if India is moved) and should push to climb the OF depth chart. Offers me than Hurtubise, in my opinion

Do you remember the last time a Rule 5 non protected player from the Reds system turned into you wishing they would have protected him? I honestly can’t think of one but I’m sure I’m missing someone

I understand it’s a low percentage…..but the idea of Jose Barrero having *a moment* in a Cardinals uniform against the Reds has been on my mind a lot

How many Reds players performed more than 5% better than you expected?

How different is that number of players compared to the avg year?

Health, development, roster upgrades, all lead me to think the team will be better. Couple random career years wouldn’t hurt either

A few options I think the Reds could turn to in order to improve their OF

(Trying to find some mutual from the other site so sharing this is appreciated!)

How Can the Reds Fix their Outfield Problems?
The Cincinnati Reds need to improve their outfield situation if they want to contend in 2025. Which free agents are the best fit to sign?

Candelario putting up the type of good season we have seen him put up in the past is possible.

That alone would be a huge boost to the lineup. Obviously more is needed, but a healthy bounce back is well within the realm of possibilities and that’s a significant upgrade

I have nothing against Jonathan India. He’s a solid player but far from special.

I have zero issue with the Reds trading him. Cin needs to improve and if trading from an area of some depth is a way to do…so be it.

Reds staying at or somewhere above their 2024 payroll is good news

How much above is the big question. They need to be willing to spike payroll in years like ‘25 when so many contributors are still relatively cheap

That doesn’t mean $200 mil. But $135-$155 isn’t crazy

Not going to lie, having to find a new profile picture after using the same one since 2019 *over there* feels weird
