(Platypus Image) The two images depict Boss 4 "Squid Mother" in both Platypus (2002) and its remake, Platypus Reclayed (2025). Boss 4 / Squid Mother is a Green Aircraft with a round circular shape. A Centre Hatch opens to release Yellow Squid enemies that shoot lasers. In the remake, Platypus Reclayed, the Centre Hatch also reveals a Double Laser Turret - Increasing the challenge against the player. The scene takes place in Colossatropolis, a metropolis with towering skyscrapers and grey clouds of pollution which block out the sunlight. Platypus is displayed in a low resolution pixel style, while Platypus Reclayed features high resolution artwork. Both are claymation shoot 'em up games.
