This is an under appreciated view point. If all it takes to procure favorable treatment from the government is to appease Donald Trump then of course corporations will prefer that circumstance over the more unknown route of law, bureaucracy and party politics.

I would say police methods and training are part of the problem. You can increase the force and provide a mandate to de-escalate conflict and not exclusively focus on crime in particular demographics. But I haven’t read the book so I might be missing crucial analysis.

Why do democrats confirm anyone at this point? It completely invalidates any future opposition to Trump or the Republican Party.

You can mix some dish soap in water and leave the sponge in a jar or glass with the concoction in between cleaning dishes and it prevents mildew.

Shadow dockets have no reasoned opinion to provide instructions to lower courts for deciding future cases. They only provide immediate relief to applicants in a particular case. The way the supreme court is using them is chaotic and destructive to the foundation of American law.

How can they put a freeze on wallet addresses? Is this a special feature of WLFI?

Yeah I’ve totally noticed ai enhanced concert videos on YouTube from the 90s. I assumed users were just trying to get more likes by posting this stuff, but maybe YouTube was gaming it. Either way I prefer the original even if grainy.

Thanks, I didn’t fully understand your initial point. It seems you are saying the problem is two fold in the case cited- bad work and bad funding.

Did you mean to say you wouldn’t stop doing the work?

It’s not clear to me what high approval of immigration policy means; are these people not aware that non-criminals are being detained, do they think immigrants actually pose a threat, or do they just dislike certain people(Latinos at this point in time)?

While they might appreciate removing the elements that criticize them, university boards definitely don’t want to pay 100s of millions of dollars. That typically, is their primary concern; preserving their assets.

I don’t think there are any regulations that can stop automation of the workforce. How would that look? Ban ai, ban LLMs or ban replacing humans. Or the other tact would be to ban systems that use copyrighted data. But, I’m afraid that none of this could really hold up or stop this technology.
