That doesn't make religion bad. There are plenty of bad religious people and bad religious beliefs, but not every religious person is like that, not every religion.

There are plenty of hateful religious people, but that doesn't tell me why it's bad to be religious. I'm not religious, but I feel like people should be allowed to believe what they believe.

Both are. I find it quite peaceful and comforting to ride on public transit. And baseball doesn't actually benefit society, it's just fun to play.
