This morning I lay down under the house, looking up the bottom end of the floorboards, a perspective few people get to see. I heard faint sounds of the outside world, and I to my side I saw small shafts of light that shifted subtly as the sun moved through the heavens.

Very strange observation in Fewster Drive last evening: a red car drove past followed by two blue cars. A few minutes later another red car went by followed by two blue cars. Normally when I see consecutive blue cars, a white car is never far behind, but not last night.

Norma rang. Apparently Uncle Ron and Aunty Melania had to come back early from their holidays. Ron stubbed his big toe in a Taiwanese bathroom and now it's the size of a bowling ball. The new sandals he got for his birthday didn't help.
