Finished. I'm really please with the light and shadow this piece casts on the wall behind it. If you, or anyone you know, might be interested in owning this piece, please message me for details.

We once lived in a world where Ella Fitzgerald and Karen Carpenter sang together.

Happy Birthday my Ella.

Just getting started on this next piece. The base is 9.5x6.5. Using sappele, walnut, hickory and oak. Three lights. One or two switches. Definitely will be a low light mood piece. This will be for a friend who has an inspiration and just wants to stare at it. Not a clue how this will turn out.

My first purple martin house is almost complete. There are three two-room nesting boxes, each with an entry that faces in a different direction. Its tower will stand about 12' with the house on top. Morning glories will be planted at the base. #birdhouse #purplemartins #rewilding #gardening

This piece has really morphed from where I thought I was going at the early stages of the build. The last bit will be to finish the cap on top. #scupture #woodsculpture

This piece got its start in New Orleans and I was rather planning on making something else. It sort of morphed. I really like how the wood stain colors and shades of mica look together. This one found its home in a great room. #sculpture #lampart

This would look amazing in a foyer. At its brightest it throws a great warm ambient light. Dimmed to a low glow its an amazing night light. It stands about 30" tall. Each side of my sculpture is different. I seem to like to make things with lots of little pieces that glow.

Almost finished with this piece and I love the warm light through the lampshade mica when the light is on. When off they look like hammered metal.
