Even if now that I think about it, he doesn't have fingers to snap, or even an arm to put the gauntlet on. Maybe that's why he looks upset.

Another good find in a charity store for a mere 3 pounds.

@burningshed.com I’m trying to find out information about a uk prog band I heard on radio, it’s called Axiom Shift. Both music and what I could find (little) makes me think it’s an AI experiment, but I was wondering if you had more info?

@burningshed.com thank you for the early delivery! Really looked forward to Lunatic Soul’s latest effort.

Charity shop find of the day - have never listened to it but I’ve never been disappointed by Peter Gabriel.

The creator of the vibe coding expression did not use AI agents full capabilities for his latest system

So if your software is not a thing people have already written a lot of times "AI" can't help doing it?

I thought for coding it was supposed to be super capable now?

@stevenwilsonhq.bsky.social I recently dug into a few of your Bass Communion records and really enjoyed them! It would be nice to hear some stories about them.

After listening to about a dozen first-hand accounts, I’ve published what I know about the RubyGems takeover.
Shopify, pulling strings at Ruby Central, forces Bundler and RubyGems takeover
Ruby Central recently took over a collection of open source projects from their maintainers without their consent.

So DHH has gone fully open right winger and racist? Maybe that gets people to stop sharing and reading his takes.

If you still share that motherfucker's writing (even on tech) or advertise his business rethink your whole life decisions and move to the woods or something.

Just backed this - core tooling needs support from the whole community.

Somehow desperately looking for speakers for the Elixir London meetup on Sep 25 #ElixirLang

Some small snags around CI to take care of, but I migrated a personal #ElixirLang project from fly.io to a self-hosted VPS using Coolify.

Anyone have a space in London that the Gleam London meetup can use? Would love somewhere we can have a few short presentations from folks

LazyGit is better 😉
Everyone: No, GitHub Desktop is better! No, VS Code!
Me: ...I just use `git add -p`.

Walks you through each change, hunk for hunk, and lets you accept with `y`. It’s like a mini code review before you commit.

Pair that with dandavison/delta, and you get syntax highlighting too 👀

Recently I’ve been working a lot on #ElixirLang LiveView forms with nested, non obvious association patterns, with JS hooks in places.
