There's a new Insta map functionality that pinpoints exactly where you are. (Not at all dodgy.) It's just been rolled out US-wide, but I wouldn't put it past them to do this in the UK, too.

Oh, definitely! Not arguing with that. It's just the internal processes being so inefficient, which should be easily resolved in this day and age...

And, as you say, if you're doing an urgent job you should be paid quickly, too!

I wonder how much of that is due to internal processes being slow. I used to work for a university and had to arrange payment for freelancers sometimes. This involved a lot of paperwork, getting signatures from at least 2 people in my department, and only then forwarding it to the accounting team.

Wow. When was that? Do you think it's still like this today in rural areas?
