I personally think Siegfried is one of the least attractive characters in the cycle. I appreciate he is meant to dispense with all conventions and even all conventional morality but he is really pain in the arse

I heard them play this programme (more or less) at Wigmore Hall (last?) year. Wonderful and was a great introdction to Messiaen's songs

It is religious but there is a big element of turning everyday behaviour on its head therefore the dressing up and a lot of normally serious adults getting drunk (just on the day)!

I am not surprised that Apple has better search as I assume it's built on top of the Primephonic system they acquired which did seem to work like a normal database. Agree that Presto is the best of the rest. They actually have a concept of a specific work, not just text which matches a description

As a lay person I really don't have an intuitive understanding for why geopotential altitude is more useful for metoerology than actual pressures and altitudes. Is there a simple explanation?
