some humor in the movie actually works really well, but this stuff doesn't match the tone of the scene, comes out of nowhere, if they found a way to build up to it it would had made sense

that's not true, these servers are made of material stuff, just look how easily watered and arsoned they can be, things being hard to do doesn't mean they are impossible, but requires commitment
