I can't help but think that the state of our country must add a great burden onto those who suffer from depression. I know someone who suffers with this, and they had to stop watching the news and discussing politics because it upset them so much that it affected their ability to function.

It's gaslighting. The true goal of gaslighting is to stop any further questions- they don't really care if they're believed as long as the questions stop.

I used to get the unpaid toll texts. The package scams are more frequent- texts and emails.
