Ossoff's nonverbals reminded me of mine when I've caught my daughter's red handed in some tom foolery.

As a veteran (not a fed employee), I appreciate the sentiment. However, being a veteran doesn't make you more human than the other civil servants who lost their jobs too. They are no less vulnerable just because they chose a different path in the gov't. This may be an unpopular opinion.

Never saw the SECDEF doing that because it isn't their job. I'm sure a dozen action officers or so would much rather him not disrupt their lives for photo ops and treating his job like the role out of Crossfit 2.0.

Also they took care of dozens of commercial aircraft crew and passengers when the airspace was shutdown on 9/11. Much of the experience was in the play "Come From Away", highly recommend.

Also worthy of mention for those who may not know, Viktor Frankl is a concentration camp survivor.

My daughter is a Freshman at UNCA... she's home now but we got the announcement of potable water on campus today. She's looking forward to the spring semester. Ironically, she didn't want to go to UNC Wilmington... because of hurricanes.
