A png of the art for the Balor pattern group HORUS mech from the Lancer Tabletop Roleplaying Game. Though its whole body is made of a nanite swarm, it is currently solidified into a bulky, broad shouldered form atop a pair of almost canine-like reverse-jointed legs. One arm is loaded with what appears to be a ranged weapon. All along the body is a carapace-like armour plating, grey and accented occasionally with orange details. Its most striking feature, above the chest it is mainly comprised of a massive turquoise flame-like cloud of nanites, entirely engulfing its insect-like head. A string of those nanites wraps its way around the Balor’s body like a ribbon dancer’s ribbon, whipping towards the viewer as the Balor seems to be slowly approaching.

Platoon Strategy Preparations: 7-8 FIXED VT FOOD PROVISIONS Since operation time for a VT is rather short, regular food provisions are issued from the Provision Company. However, since in some cases food cannot be issued, each VT is loaded with an emergency food supply equivalent to 4 servings. In situations where there is no other way, each ranked commander is responsible for using these. After they are used, an upper level commander should be told immediately, so that they can be replenished. 7-9 BRINGING PERSONAL EFFECTS INTO THE COCKPIT There is a compartment for holding provisions inside the cockpit. If the personal effect is capable of fitting into the compartment space then it is possible to bring personal items into the cockpit. However, carrying private items into the VT must be cleared beforehand by an accompanying commander. Also, it is forbidden to carry the operation manual, which is strictly confidential, into the VT.

I’ve opened Twitter a couple times in the past few days to observe the fallout and if it isn’t the main post itself, it’s the replies. Every time I see one of them espousing their vitriolic bullshit, this image flashes in my head like the fucking Akira meme.

Someone posted this but then deleted it, so I’m putting it back up without their name. Canada’s polls currently show a landslide conservative victory on the horizon. It’s unclear if liberals would do better voting Lib or NDP. Either way, the vote is split. Is so unbelievably over for us as well.
