FYI Springer/Nature is mandating that NIH-supported papers pay for open access. Not sure there is much of a path for student-led, T32-funded papers to be published with them going forward...

Good news: Current UNC graduate students received 50% of all NSF GRFP awards in GEOG :)
Bad news: Only ~1/3 the usual number were given out overall :(
