Decarbonizing the grid. Ducks. Catamounts. UConn. Bo Sox.
Thought this looked familiar and realized it was from 2013. Time, flat circle, etc.

I don’t remember the exact quote but there’s a Zuck line in The Social Network that’s something like “putting the whole college experience online”. It’s taking something you don’t understand and aren’t comfortable with and moving it to friendlier ground.

I wonder if it’s less about being rich and more about folks in tech traditionally being socially awkward and trying to engineer a solution to social interaction with the medium they’re most comfortable with.

I think this headline/your subsequent framing @volts.wtf is misleading. It reads like they’re not covering operational emissions, when the 1,700 ton figure is actually just referring to Scope 3.

Yale doesn’t have an on campus dairy. You must be confusing it with Connecticut’s most venerable hall of learning up in Storrs, a mistake that imho does not happen enough.

I have lived over 30 years of life blissfully unaware of Peanut Butter Patties and Caramel Delights, ignorant to Girl Scout cookie bifurcation.

The 2028 campaign will be defined by the next four years, and the collective Dem response will be key, just like it was in 2020. I think that’s what Matt is getting at here. The person who can step up and say this now will be the most effective candidate in the future.
January 29, 2025 at 5:27 PM
For everyone complaining about the relevancy of this in a 2028 election cycle three years from now: how about using this as a litmus test for any Dem trying to mount *some sort* of resistance to the current administration?
