A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

being able to see so much art lovingly made by hand, endlessly, daily, has got to be one of the biggest boons of the digital age and one we take for granted. think of all the accumulated labor, love, hardship, etc. we are treated to in the form of illustration, writing, craft. for free, always.

It sucks to see that Nintendo 2 Switch direct do everything right only for the prices to feel so deflating. I feel like the console itself is fair but games should never be hitting 80 dollars under any circumstance (even if it’s 50 in a bundle). The fact their tech demo game is paid too is INSANE.

When I was tiny I remember looking at buildings, cars, TV adverts, streets, packaged food... and thinking woah, this was all made by other humans. I felt the ghosts of all these adults wherever I went and it filled me with something... like awe. TBH it still does.
