A lot of us feel the exact same way from time to time, and just because you feel that way doesn't mean your feelings are telling you the truth 🫶🏾

I'd rather redirect that energy towards what's within my control.

It's so much easier to speak to a group you get.

Whether it's introverts, moms, or people in corporate roles, when you've walked in their shoes, you get their unique struggles.

And that makes your messaging even more powerful.

It took me almost three years to feel comfortable positioning myself as a brand strategist & designer specifically for introverted & highly sensitive women

At first, I tried to cater to all female entrepreneurs, afraid of turning anyone away or losing potential clients. But here's the thing:

Basically, when we get on these platforms and start fighting with each other, that engagement actually generates revenue for the social media companies and the creators.

In fact some creators intentionally make hateful content to make more money.

And this has shifted how I see & use social media

I can't describe the freedom that brings in the relationship, especially considering how we're almost taught that every business connection has to lead somewhere.

So if the only way people can buy something or get deeper into your world(eg: by getting a freebie) is by having to speak up or engage publicly, then you're most likely pushing these silent buyers away.

Give yourself permission to either try again or pivot cause those numbers are only visible to you, and your mind is making up stories to convince you that this thing that didn't go as planned is somehow on display for the whole world to see.

...break it up into different slides.

This actually carries over into blogging too.

When you write blogs, you want to break up your paragraphs using headings and images because that makes it easier for people to digest the content.

It makes it way more likely they'll read all the way through.

The reason for this is because a lot of times when people see a big paragraph with lots of words, it can actually be overwhelming to the eye and makes them not want to read more.

They're less likely to get to the end of your carousel or finish your story.

To make it more digestible..

And seeing people this month leave their 9-5s to start their own businesses? It’s proof that even in uncertain times, hope is still alive and instead of leaning into despair, you can choose to lean into hope.
