Going back to where I started-I bought that first journal in January 2020 when I was in DC for a training at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. On the cover it says "What You Do Matters".

Five years ago today I was Council Chair. 1 of the most surreal moments in my life was preparing for that press conference. I started keeping a journal on 3/16/20-the day we released the City State of Emergency proclamation. I've written in a journal nearly every day since then-I’m on my 9th now.

Working mostly remote has been incredible for me since I started with SoS last fall-for my mental health & for caretaking when Scott got diagnosed. It also means when I am in Augusta it’s more fun-today I got to see @robglover.bsky.social and get a cool kids selfie with @shennabellows.bsky.social.
