You can set the external display as Main display (in Display settings) and the dock should go there when you connect it.

what am I missing here, I keep seeing these kinds of posts and just don't get it? It's for dev environments, right? Not for deployment (unless Azure)? How hard is it to once write a docker-compose file?

sorry, no blog post! it's pretty easy though! gitea is spun up through docker compose and you can easily set up migration and set it as a mirror.

thanks, but there's nothing there about this issue that I see?.In fact it's the MapStaticAssets that the article suggests that is causing the runtime startup slowdown. There's an bug open on github for the build slowdown,but not sure if there's already one for the startup slowdown, I have to check.

Another fact - I tried to upgrade my project to net 9 and it now starts with a 20secs extra delay and build takes much longer :( static web assets seems to be quite unoptimized
