Setting aside the absolute what the fuck of Hozier proclaiming a “Hozier Day” with “celebrations”, trying to take 17 March? Birthday or not, we already have pretty well established plans that day. I’d ask if he’s ok but he’s clearly not fucking ok.

Robert Plant has been one of my most loved singers since I was like 19. The definition of “is it a crush or just really great music?” And well… it’s really great fucking music. Zeppelin and the rest. And he’s funny. But seeing him react, listening to a Bonzo interview? There’s a love story.

I dunno man, I don’t think we talk enough about rock stars who look unnervingly like White Jesus. You’d walk past this one of Hozier on your granny’s wall for weeks before noticing.

This week was a bit of a challenge, including the loss of my headphone charger cable so I only got to listen to @kermodeandmayo.bsky.social today… and found Take 2 is named after *my* ref to Ringo the Pope in Lisztomania AND I made @kermodemovie.bsky.social laugh. Which is very cool.
