Exactly. And there are many more millions of people who speak Spanish in the Americas than there are in Europe. The problems with transition have been around for years. At least it's named as a CAR recommendation now, although I'm not sure it'll work that way.

I give a Spanish prize per class each week, so with 39 weeks and less than 39 students, everyone gets one. I choose someone who has impressed me.

We had house points at middle school, but I just enjoyed learning. Nothing at secondary school except end of year language prizes 😁
