As a former police officer, who had to watch the courts allow very violent people out on bail, why she and the others are on remand and not on bail is unbelievable.

MPs should be barred from having second jobs. They should also be barred from investing in stocks and shares (other than generic ISA funds etc.). That would stop those wishing to exploit the system becoming an MP and encourage those that want to only be public servants. Does any party support this?
