We had a family trip to Greenwich today. A fairly ordinary outing for most people but our youngest is non-verbal and has severe learning disabilities so it can be scary to take her new places. It was a fantastic success right down to her sitting down and eating a lunch in a museum cafe.

Belated St Andrew’s Day feast. I think it’s the only meal that you can have a bottle of whisky on the table to pour on the main course….

I was made very happy this weekend to find a trolley in Sainsbury’s that will take someone who weighs up to 35kg. It makes shopping with my youngest so much easier. Now I know they exist I will be looking out for them.

Ever beautiful Scotland (and probably the first and last time I will ever have a whole beach to enjoy with just family to share it with).
