Why do some people with mental health problems go out of their way to get drugs that will undoubtedly fucke them up even more?

my desktop icons weren't showing after i launched hidamari, it's fine, i can live without desktop icons
apparently the solution is to launch hidamari, then disable the icons, wait a bit, then turn them on again, it apparently makes them render on top even with hidamari, its so dumb
