Keynote by Professor Elizabeth D. Peña on assessing #DLD in #bilingual children and busting myths:
Bilinguals score in the normative mean in at least one language. There is no "bilingual delay" & bilinguals with DLD are not double delayed.
Look at #individualdifferences, not group averages.

Rowena Garcia is presenting research at #ISB15 showing that #crosslinguistic #priming occurs across #typologically unrelated languages & without overlap of constituent order. The degree of overlap modulated the magnitude of the effect.
