Also, it was while I was figuring out designs for this AU that I managed to finally find a nice way to draw imogen's lightning marks Those are always hard to get right

The logic I was following here was to kind of follow that path that the veins make on a body and then build from there

In this AU Chet was the crazy old man that believes in all the alien conspiracy theories but who was actually right about most of it (in a roundabout way)

He 100% believed that imogen was there to kill all humans and take over the world or something though, when he first found out she was an alien

Rumi's hand slaps on the bed making a "pah!" sound, she says "I got it!!" Rumi, now kneeling on the bed, raises her hand high and shouts "Nemo!!" "Not an animal" Zoey answers off camera. Mira, also kneeling, points at the camera and says "Nessie!" "The cryptid???" Zoey again, off camera Rumi throws her hands behind her head in frustration shouting "come one!" Mira looks furious beside her and screams "Fuck!" Zoey raises her pointer finger up on one hand and confidently says "So there's narwhal, numbat, nutria, naja, nurse shark, nightingale, nudibranch, nautilus, newt, nandu, nightjar, nine banded armadillo, nematode, naked mole rat, nyla, napoleon fish, nuthatch, nile crocodile, nighthawk, needle-fish, night heron, not to mention all the animals that start with 'northen' in their name, like the northen pike or the northen elephant seal..." This wasn't even intentional, just kinda happened as I was drawing and I noticed when i was done with the lineart. Thought this would be Good Food for some people so i'm sharing them side to side
