People who was poetically about Gen X being rap and alt rock and punk rock are forgetting that these were all counter culture and that the mainstream culture of that period produced some real turds both in terms of cultural artifacts and people.

Fighting fascism in the streets, which i think a growing number if people are realizing is the only way out of this, is for people who don't have kids. If you have a family, the best thing you can do is keep them safe and raise your kids to be antifascists.

I really think people underestimate just how much the allegiance of many more 'moderate' elected officials on both sides of the aisle lies not with any particular value or ideal, but with retaining their position.

This was the result of the 'left-leaning' party moving further to the right every election cycle in an attempt to court 'moderate' voters. It should be a cautionary tale to every other nation on Earth.

I am really excited to see if this trend continues, as I have always felt this stock was a house of cards.

The goal is to collapse our economy and both instigate and allow one or more major terrorist attacks against the US.

At least we have the choice of dying from a preventable disease or being murdered by our own troops/police for protesting. Which seems kind as social security is gone and in another month all of our retirement funds will be worthless.

They are very concerned this will hurt their ability to win over the moderate republicans they have been courting for 32 years.

Lets be honest, nothing would make quite a few (almost all white and almost all male) democrats happier than just being the "opposition party" for the rest of their existence, just getting elected to safe seats and not having to worry about passing legislation ever again.
