I left teaching yesterday. This is my first day in 12 years of not being a teacher.

Trying to think of positive things to say 2025: I've seen probably 10 times more butterflies this year than I have in the last few years. A wonderful sight.

Why is so much supermarket packaging still unable to be recycled at home and who the fuck recycles at a large supermarket? Is this a loophole? I am sure they should be far more ♻️ friendly by now. Big brands seem better than own brand stuff, why?
