The little ships sail once again today... Operation Dynamo 85. Both my Great Uncles Tommy and Mildon were on the beaches at Dunkirk waiting to be rescued with the British Expeditionary Force, but this was just the start of their war..

Chocolate free zone this Easter.. but I did bake my seeded Snowdonia honey cake, poppy, sunflower,pumpkin seeds with lots of dates instead of sugar, orange & lemon juice & zest. Wholemeal flour, ground almonds & Anglesey sea salt butter! 😋 Happy Easter 🐰 🐣

The French Army wanted their Eagle back, Union Army bugler bugled for us, the 23rd Regiment of Foot on parade & inspection of the troops carried out by FM Monty himself!!

Yesterday the Royal British Legion working in partnership with the CWGC and with the Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades, Veterans Associations the Mayor & dignitaries of Wrexham all came together for the rededication of 3 service mens graves at Overton on Dee #Wrexham #LestWeForget

Yesterday as @PreservePenley I visited the Penley Polish Heritage Project at Penley church. Lovely to see Wrexham Mayor visiting too. It's been a long road raising awareness about Penley! Go along and see the pop up exhibition..
