Here, here. 👏 Although, one little chink of light last week is that Bristol council, after a sizeable petition, have agreed not to go ahead with plans to close the city's libraries as part of the most recent round of cost-cutting. Guess we have to keep fighting the battles to win the war!

Absolutely agree. I've read up to chapter 9 and I have to keep putting the lid on my highlighter pen as it's drying up! Such a useful book - practical, accessible and interesting. It has the scope to really impact practice. Every primary teacher needs to read it.

I've just turned away from my laptop and have started reading the introduction already! Love the questions and direct reference to specific chapters at the start - that's really helpful.
