Just 51.7% of Indiana high school grads went to college in 2023, according to the state Commission for Higher Education.

I’m in Bloomington for the IU board of trustees meeting. It’s the first since Gov. Braun removed alumni elected trustees and appointed 3 new trustees to the board — Sage Steele, Jim Bopp and Brian Eagle.

In a tight budget year, workforce officials are worried about state funding for Jobs for America's Graduates.

The program, which recently doubled in size in Indiana, helps at-risk students graduate high school, move on to college and learn life skills.
