Year after year, Texas has led the nation in utility-scale clean power deployment.

Texas has long been #1 in total wind farm capacity. The Lone Star State surpassed California in total solar farm capacity last year. And now, Texas is also the fastest-growing market for storage.

Meanwhile, ERCOT still expects normal grid conditions, aka no need for rotating outages.

ERCOT expects enough power supply to meet forecasted higher demand over the next 6 days:

ERCOT expects normal grid conditions (aka no outages) through next week's freeze, a spokesperson said Wednesday.

ERCOT's dashboard is showing plenty of electricity supply to meet demand through next Tuesday.

So far, normal grid conditions are expected this week despite the cold (which, in layman’s terms, means outages aren’t expected).
