1. Insidious and archaic perceptions of women's abilities to work if they are a parent.
2. Toxic notion that women can have it all. (This will depend on your interpretation of 'all!')
3. Lack of understanding/interest in matresence and its implications for a woman returning to work post-mat leave.

Completely agree, Zoe. I think people forget that even the most experienced teachers are consumed with thinking about being ready for their students/lessons. Sure- share school values/ethos etc-but the most impactful thing is to give people the headspace to be ready for core business to resume.
