So necessary and full of wonder

In my work ‘Torus’ I’ve blended the snake of the ouroboros and a 4 dimensional torus form.
Snake is a recurring theme across many of my works, something I return to again and again.

Having the ability to shed their skin, snake symbolises new beginnings, alchemical transformations and the cycle of birth. death and creation.

Striking directly, they represent truth.

Snake symbolises both the light and dark aspects of our being. With belly to the ground they represent a connection with earth and ancient wisdom. Flowing with ripple-like movement, both soft and hard, they are strongly associated with the water element, with transformation and healing.
