It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.
Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

Exactly. The common law is silent when it comes to protecting a number of minority groups, including trans people. If the HRA was repealed or the UK pulled out of the ECHR then they would be left without legal protection. The common law protects those rights that the powerful consider important.

The more one delves into British institutional decency and honesty, the more appalling it appears to be. It points directly to individuals more interested in their own welfare than those they are supposed to protect.

Especially given the sheer number of people who were born the wrong side of a royal or titled blanket...the number of people on who do you think you are that are descended from the big aristocratic families of England is quite extraordinary.

Yeah, I've had that experience too. I think it's nice in a way - it's quite the leveller. Puts everybody at the level of people chatting.

That's a pretty pen! Journaling with a nice pen is a good way to keep your handwriting skills alive. Loads of people nowadays do all their writing on a computer so they struggle to read and write by hand.
