This has played a star role today, due to our electric kettle popping its clogs today. A day without tea or coffee could have resulted in all sorts of problems.

That's been a good weekend - day out at the Newbury show yesterday, good excuse for a wander round and a decent pie for dinner. Also got to look at traction engines - got to love a traction engine! Even little ones!

Our Tuxedo cat Tez agrees with Smol Paul on the tastiness of butter and crispy snacks - some of her favourites are cheese and onion crisps, hula hoops and Frazzles. She recently discovered poppadoms too.

Just had someone flying over our house doing that - it's getting pretty dark for that sort of thing. Maybe they've got lost like the Only Fools and horses Hangliding episode.

All the tuning and noise can't have been too bad - either that or the lure of the fan was worth putting up with the racket. Yes, I know I need to get the vacuum out but it's too hot.

Day off and it's too hot to do too much - so this fine thing has been checked over and tuned. It's been a while! All generally ok - have had to repair bits over the years, but not today - it's survived three generations of my family! Didn't inflict any playing on the neighbours!
